Permanent pumpSkins are easy to apply but it may take a couple of tries to get the hang of it. For your convenience, we ship a bottle of application fluid for every 100 pumpSkins you purchase. Application fluid is designed to slightly lubricate the sticky side of the pumpSkin for positioning purposes before the adhesive bonds to the pot.

Airpots

  1. Shake application fluid well before using.
  2. With a clean cloth or paper towel, use a small amount of application fluid to clean the surface of the airpot.
  3. Peel back the liner of the pumpSkin and mist the adhesive side with pumpSkins application fluid. This will allow you to position the pumpSkin on the airpot before it permanently adheres.
  4. Center the pumpSkin beneath the spout of the airpot. There should be an equal amount of the airpot body revealing at the top and bottom.
  5. Use the squeegee to remove excess fluid and air pockets from beneath the pumpSkin. Squeegee evenly with a vertical stroke from the front center of the airpot to the right and around back. Repeat process from front center to the left and around back. As you work your way around the airpot, make sure that the pumpSkin continues to be centered vertically and horizontally.
  6. Be sure to press firmly on all corners and edges.
  7. Wipe surface to remove excess fluid.

Gravity Server Dispensers

  1. Shake application fluid well before using.
  2. With a clean cloth or paper towel, use a small amount of application fluid to clean the surface of the airpot.
  3. Peel back the liner of the pumpSkin and mist the adhesive side with pumpSkins application fluid. This will allow you to position the pumpSkin on the thermal server before it permanently adheres.
  4. Butt-fit the pumpSkin to the side of the sight gauge. There should be an equal amount of the thermal server body revealing at the top and bottom.
  5. Use the squeegee to remove excess fluid and air pockets from beneath the pumpSkin. Squeegee evenly with a vertical stroke from the sight gauge working your way around the pot to the other side of the sight gauge. As you do this, make sure that the pumpSkin continues to be centered vertically and horizontally.
  6. Be sure to press firmly on all corners and edges.
  7. Wipe surface to remove excess fluid.

Large Thermal Servers

  4. If the pumpSkin has die cut holes to accommodate handles, rest the pumpSkin loosely over the handles. Butt-fit the pumpSkin to the side of the sight gauge. There should be an equal amount of the thermal server body revealing at the top and bottom.
  5. Use the squeegee to remove excess fluid and air pockets from beneath the pumpSkin. Squeegee evenly with a vertical stroke from the sight gauge working your way around the back of the pot. Make sure the bottom section of the pumpSkin (beneath the spout) is pulled tight and free of air pockets. Now, repeat the placement and squeegee process for the other side of the thermal server. As you do this, make sure that the pumpSkin continues to be centered vertically and horizontally.
  6. Be sure to press firmly on all corners and edges.
  7. Wipe surface to remove excess fluid.
